Over de publicatie

Kask Cahiers is een publicatiereeks die de artistieke onderzoeksprojecten van de Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten Hogeschool Gent documenteert en een forum biedt voor de studie en beoefening van de kunsten. De publicatie presenteert onderzoek over het werk van kunstenaars, architecten, filmmakers en vormgevers verbonden aan de academie, en verschaft inzicht in de probleemstellingen van de hedendaagse artistieke praktijk. Naast analytische en essayistische teksten, bevat de reeks kunstenaarsstatements en interviews bij nieuwe tentoonstellingen en projecten. De periodiciteit van de Kask Cahiers is afhankelijk van het aantal ingediende en gesolliciteerde thema’s. De cahiers worden tweetalig Engels-Nederlands uitgegeven en kunnen worden aangekocht in de Hogeschool Gent of via het bestelformulier op deze website.

About the publication

Kask Cahiers is a series of publications documenting the artistic research projects of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University College Ghent, and providing a forum for the study and practice of the arts. The publication presents scholarship about the work of artists, architects, filmmakers, and designers attached to the Academy, and provides insight into the problem areas of contemporary art practices. In addition to analytical texts and essays, the series comprises artists’ statements and interviews about new exhibitions and projects. The periodicity of the Kask Cahiers depends on the number of submitted and solicited subjects. The cahiers are published in Dutch and English. Each issue can be purchased at the University College Ghent or by using the publication order form on this website.
